Alan + Sydney

July 7th Sydney and Ray tied the knot in Wentzville, MO. The wedding was held in a super cute church located in the heart of Wentzville. During the ceremony Sydney and Ray had a cross ceremony which they combined two crosses. I loved this idea so much! There was not a dry eye in sight. The two are so in love and they could not stop smiling at one another during the ceremony.

After the ceremony we captured family pictures at the alter and a few of Sydney and Ray in the church. Once we left the church we went to the reception area to capture wedding party images. The reception was held at Quail Ridge Lodge located in Wentzville, MO. The Lodge has a huge park and gazebo area. We captured pictures near the gazebo and in front of this beautiful tree line. Ray's family owns an antique store located in Warrenton, MO. His family brought a vintage settee for pictures ! I loved the idea so much! We captured the wedding party and bride and groom portraits right before the reception. The reception started and the dancing and fun began! Sydney and Ray shared a toast of Champagne in the champagne flute that was passed down from her family! There is no doubt that Ray and Sydney are perfect for one another! I loved capturing this wedding! The summer blush colors and fresh greenery! Take a look below at this beautiful summer wedding!

Alan + Melissa

Alan and Melissa tied the knot on the first of July! These two are seriously the sweetest! As soon as I met Melissa I was super excited to capture her wedding, she has such a genuine personality !

The day began with Melissa and her bridesmaids getting ready at Bella Mia salon in Lake Saint Louis, MO. The girls were laughing and sharing memories as they sipped on mimosas. Melissa and her bridesmaids all wore floral robes as they got ready at the salon. Once make up and hair was done the girls went outside to take a jello shot they all made the night before. After the Jello shots Melissa got into her dress so she could do a first look with her dad. There was this little wood area that was perfect for her first look with her dad. When Melissa saw her dad she had the sweetest smile ever! After the first look and some detail shots of Melissa in her dress it was time to leave for the ceremony.

The ceremony was held at Quail Ridge Lodge in Wentzville, MO. The ceremony was indoor in front of these big windows that overlooked the park area. The weather was perfect for July not too hot and not too sunny. When the ceremony completed the wedding party and family all went outside for pictures. The wedding party was laughing and having so much fun! We would come up with jokes and everyone was laughing. Melissa and Alan share so much love. They have 3 sweet children and they are the cutest! The night ended with Jello shots and tons of dancing on the dance floor! Congrats to Melissa and Alan!

70's styled shoot

I have always been in love with vibrant colors and retro things. Bohemian style is close to my heart the fringe the colors and so much more! My home has bohemian touches throughout my home in fact. A few months ago I sat down and thought what would be unique that I can get super creative with! It dawned on me a 70's styled shoot with a touch of bohemian! I pictured fringe and huge winged eye liner. Everything else would be collaborating ideas with my vendor team!

I first went to White Traditions Bridal House in Saint Charles Missouri. A few days prior they just brought in a unique dress that is a jumpsuit with tons of long fringe! I knew I wanted to incorporate that look with the shoot. I was seriously in love with the gown. After picking the gown Katie with Rouge Events and I sat down to go over ideas and what to incorporate. Katie and I  met for coffee at the local Starbucks and collaborated for a good two hours. We talked florals to groom attire. I knew sunflowers had to be incorporated for this shoot because I love sunflowers and to me that screamed 70's. About three weeks after meeting and going over the finalized details for the shoot it was time to put this styled shoot together!

We arrived at a private farm in Saint Charles, Missouri. There were so many photo opportunities here from corn fields to huge rustic barns. I literally could spend all day photographing this beautiful farm. Katie did amazing with the decor! She set up a huge table with retro chairs, flowers that hung above the table and a bohemian chair swing that hung from the silos. My jaw hit the floor when I saw everything set up it was beyond perfect! The shoot was so much fun and I    can not thank the vendor team enough who helped make this happen!

Kim + Jeff

June 30th Kim and Jeff tied the knot at this super cute private lake called Innsbrook resort in Missouri. The lake is a private lake however you can get married at the resort area. The ceremony is held outside facing the lake and the reception is held inside in this cute rustic indoor venue. The colors of the wedding were beautiful, tiffany blue, greenery and pastel colors.

When we arrived at Innsbrook we started with detail shots and Kim getting into her beautiful dress. Kim's dress was seriously so beautiful ! There were rhinestones and gems on the dress that traced the straps on the front and back, I have never seen a dress like that before I seriously loved! Once Kim got into her dress we went outside to start capturing the bride and her tribe. The bridesmaids wore a tiffany blue long dress with navy blue Converse. Where Kim rocked white pearl Converse. Once we captured the bride and bridesmaids Kim and Jeff wanted to capture a first look. We placed Jeff with his back to Kim that way Kim could walk up to Jeff and tap on his shoulder for the first look. The first look was super cute! The wedding party wanted to stay to watch and Kim and Jeff were full of smiles. After the first look we captured the groom and groomsmen images. Let me first by saying this group had so much fun from literally picking Jeff up to one groomsmen having Jeff stand on his shoulder the pictures from this were priceless. After capturing all the wedding party, bride and groom portraits the ceremony was about to begin.

The ceremony started in the late afternoon. The sun was shinning and there was light refreshments such as a moscow mule drinks and lemon water. Kim and Jeff said the " I do's" right in front which over looked the lake. After the reception we snapped traditional family portraits. Kim and Jeff wanted to enjoy the cocktail hour as well as the full reception. Since we captured all the images beforehand Kim and Jeff went around and talked to each guest and hung out the rest of the night with their friends and family. We stayed until the end to capture the sparkler send off. Kim and Jeff shared a kiss as the new Mr and Mrs before leaving with the wedding party that night to continue the party! Congrats to Kim and Jeff!!
