Lindsey + Kenny

June 2nd Lindsey and Kenny tied the knot at Sunset Bluffs in Washington, Missouri. The venue was a dream. From white sand to a beautiful cliff that overlooks the venue.

The day started with Lindsey and her bridesmaids getting ready upstairs at Sunset Bluffs. The room was huge with tons of natural light. The corner of the room tucked a private area for make up artist and hair stylist. There were huge mirrors with make up lights built in already. The girls sipped on mimosas and shared memories while they all got ready. Shortly after Kenny and the groomsmen arrive. There is a room downstairs for the guys to get ready in. The weather was raining on and off but luckily Sunset Bluffs has a huge indoor area with tons of huge windows allowing a ton of natural light to flow through the entire venue. After everyone was ready Lindsey wanted a first look with her father. We had Lindsey's father facing his back to this huge staircase, that way when Lindsey came down the steps we could snap some creative shots and angles. The first look with her dad was so precious! There was not a dry eye. After the first look it was time for the ceremony. The weather was an overcast with the sun just barely shinning through we could not have asked for better lighting. The ceremony was beautiful ! The pastor was Lindsey's pastor since she was a child making the ceremony very sentimental. My second photographer went up on the cliff at Sunset Bluffs to snap some wide angle shots of the ceremony which are so cool! Right when Lindsey and Kenny shared their first kiss as Mr and Mrs Kenny dipped her before they exchanged their first kiss which was the cutest!

Following the ceremony we snapped the wedding party and bride and groom portraits. We had so much fun from laughing to all the groomsmen picking up Lindsey for a photo. After the in between pictures followed the reception. The one thing I love about outside summer weddings is it is still light outside until making for good natural light photos. Lindsey and Kenny entered the reception wearing handcuffs as Kenny's profession is in law enforcement. The reception was so much fun from games to speeches. The wedding of Kenny and Linsey was a beautiful outside summer wedding! Congrats to Kenny and Lindsey!

Nashville styled shoot

Nashville is a city of dreams <3 From the city life to the urban restaurants, there is always something to do in Nashville. About two weeks ago I traveled to Nashville with my good friend's STL Glam Co. Earlier this month we planned a styled shoot for a wedding at a Drakewood Farms in Nashville. This venue is all but a dream. From a big rustic barn to a beautiful woodland ceremony area. There are so many areas at this venue that are so dreamy for your wedding.

Ali and John were the models for this wedding styled shoot and they were absolutely perfect! We had so much fun getting to know them from popping champagne to twirling in the fields. These two are super adorable. Enjoy these images and if you ever visit Nashville for an event or wedding make sure you stop by Drakewood Farms. Thank you to all the vendors who made this styled shoot happen!

High school sweet heart beach wedding

May 19th 2018 was my first ever beach destination wedding. I literally have been counting down the days until I hopped on my first plane ride by myself to head on over to South Carolina for a dreamy beach wedding! Kaylee the bride and Justin the groom have been together since high school. In fact there were pictures at the beach house from the beginning stages of them dating. This wedding meant so much to me!

Thursday prior to the wedding I flew in from Saint Louis to Atlanta ( which is a massive airport) than to my final destination Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Kaylee and Justin were so kind and picked me up from the airport. The fact that I was standing in the airport for my first ever destination wedding felt like a dream. I have known Kaylee since middle school so the fact that she chose me to capture her dream wedding was very rewarding. Leaving the airport we arrived at this beautiful two story beach home that lead out onto the beautiful beach. We started the day chilling, eating sandwiches and meeting all the family members of Kaylee and Justin. That night was Kaylee and Justins bachelor and bachelorette parties. One of the reasons I came in on Thursday was for the bachelorette party. Kaylee was so kind and invited me and I could not turn down celebrating the bride to be!

Friday more family arrived and this was a chill day with swimming in the beach and meeting all the family of Kaylee and Justin's. Later in the day Kaylee and Justin wanted to jump in the ocean with a wedding dress this was a dream of Kaylee's to do. Kaylee borrowed a dress from her friend to jump into the ocean with since she wanted to keep he wedding dress cleaned for her big day. The pictures we got were incredible, I myself have never captured something so raw and beautiful and plus who doesn't love the ocean? Later that night we all helped to get things ready for the big day!

The big wedding day arrived on Saturday! We were all so excited ! That morning we all ate breakfast and chatted about the upcoming timeline. The day started off raining and we came up with a game plan to make this beach wedding happen, to keep this wedding on the beach in rain or shine. Kaylee got ready upstairs while Justin stayed downstairs with the groomsmen. I hung the dresses in the beautiful master bedroom which overlooked the ocean. The entire house had so many windows which flowed with natural light and views forever of the blue ocean. Once Kaylee and Justin were finished getting ready we did first looks. We started the first look with Kaylee and her father than Justin and his mother. First look's with parents are always so beautiful. The rain did not stop us for going onto the beach and capturing a beach ceremony. I had both my cameras with me and someone was kind enough to follow me while I captured the wedding. The middle where Justin and Kaylee stood there was a giant cedar cross that Kaylee's grandpa made for her wedding day. Following the wedding the rain started to stop and we captured the wedding party and Justin and Kaylee on the beach. The weather was perfect. The ocean breeze, overcast I mean we could not have asked for a better day. After the pictures lead into the reception and barbecue food! The reception was set up under the beach house driveway area. Kaylee's dad who is a DJ set up all his equipment under the stairs and the tables were all set up for everyone to chat and eat some pulled pork and barbecue food. Kaylee and Justin enjoyed their first dance at sunset. After their first dance they danced the rest of the night with family and friends. This beach wedding was a dream and I can not wait for my next beach wedding! Congrats to Kaylee and Justin!

Tiffani + Andrew

Congrats to Tiffani and Andrew! These two tied the knot on May 12th at Andrew's family property. I first saw the location when I captured Tiffani's boudoir images there. I was taken away! The house was beautiful ! The home is something you see in a magazine, a beautiful cabin style home. The home has so many hidden gems such as a huge master bedroom with a deck and a beautiful well lit kitchen with a  big island. I arrived the morning of the wedding to start capturing getting ready images. I met all the bridesmaids and groomsmen and started capturing the details. Tiffani's dress was a beautiful lace dress with sparkles and a strapless top. I hung her dress outside on this ledge right under this archway. I wanted to incorporate the home with her beautiful dress. After the details I    captured the bridesmaids getting ready. The girls were sharing memories of Tiffani and Andrew and chatting about the wedding day. After the girls were all ready it was time to get Tiffani in her white dress. We all went out onto the deck because the lighting was perfect. We captured some images of Tiffani and her bridesmaids than her mom and Andrew's mom. There were so many happy tears shed that there was not a dry eye. Tiffani gave her maid of honor a beautiful Alex an Ani bracelet and necklaces for the bridesmaids. During that time Andrew and the groomsmen were outside in the front of the home chatting on the deck and patiently waiting for the ceremony.

The ceremony was in the front yard of the home where there was a huge deck for all the bridesmaids and groomsmen to stand on during the ceremony. The wedding party walked through the side yard which led to the front of the home. During the ceremony Tiffani and Andrew had a sand ceremony than shared their first kiss. We captured all the pictures on the property since there were so many photo opportunity locations. When it was time to take the pictures of Tiffani and Andrew we went to this hidden location on the property it was a cleared out trail area with beautiful trees. There was a huge field with tall grass that was beyond perfect for pictures. After the pictures it was time for dinner than the reception. The deck was huge, so huge that there was enough room for the caterers and the food. I do not think I will ever stop talking about how beautiful the deck was.

The reception was also on the property's front yard right near where the ceremony was held. There was a huge white tent that blocked the sun and the heat. There was a center area cleared for a dance floor. The reception was so much fun from dancing to Spice Girls to Tiffani and Andrew dancing with everyone during the dollar dance. Wishing Andrew and Tiffani a lifelong marriage full of happiness!
