Amy + Patrick

Amy + Patrick celebrated their marriage on December 28 2018. The two live in another state and came down to their hometown to tie the knot alongside with friends and family. The ceremony and reception took place at The Neo On Locust. This venue is located downtown in Saint Louis, Missouri. From the brick walls to the concrete floors to the rooftop this venue is one of our favs! After the girls got ready Amy and Patrick did a first look on the rooftop which was breathtaking! The colors from their wedding were gorgeous! Navy blue, gold, pine, greenery, white, we were swooning over the detail! The view from the rooftop was an aerial view of downtown Saint Louis from the tall buildings to the view of the arch simply jaw dropping! The ceremony was held shortly after which was gorgeous ! The inside was set up for the ceremony which was lit up by candle light and string lights. Shortly after the ceremony was the reception. Amy and her friends knew how to party! From tons of dancing to a fraternity chant, the reception was so fun! Wishing Amy and Patrick a lifetime of happiness <3

December 12th 2018 Rhonda and Chris did not just renew their vows but they celebrated 5 years of marriage. They celebrated 5 years on a Wednesday which was super unique! The celebration did not start until around 5:00pm allowing friends and family to come after work. The ceremony and reception was held at the beautiful Piazza Messina located in the heart of Cottleville, Missouri. The venue is new to the area and is breathtaking! From the Italian charm and beautiful stone bar this venue is a favorite of ours! During the reception Rhonda and Chris cut a cake and danced to their favorite song. The rest of the night was celebrated with close friends and family. Congrats to 5 years of marriage and many more years!

A Gatsby Styled Shoot

Gatsby styled shoot 12-2018 (133 of 184).jpg

Every year about two to three times a year we collaborate with other wedding vendors to create a fun unique styled shoot. Styled shoots allow us creatives to step out of the box to use our creative side to full potential. This shoot we went for something sleek, like an old Hollywood theme. With putting this shoot together we kept our colors and theme on our mind. Once picking the beautiful long sleeve dress from White Traditions Bridal in Saint Charles the theme was screaming more of a Gatsby vibe. Katie and Hillary the florist and even coordinator used white feathers for accents with the theme which made perfect sense for the Gatsby theme to be the final end to our product. This shoot was something that was dear to my heart I love the vintage sleek style. The location was held at Sunflower Hill Farm a brand new venue located in Defiance, Missouri. The venue is gorgeous with a sleek modern barn to a beautiful open floor home that over looks the bluffs in Defiance. We are thanking all the vendor team from the bottom of our hearts to make this beautiful styled shoot come to life.

Lauren + Alex

Gunkel wedding (283 of 828).jpg

November weddings are always so sweet and the weather is perfect. November 10th Lauren and Alex said “ I do”. When meeting Lauren and Alex about a year ago I knew we would click very well we talked for over an hour about wedding details and just getting to know one another. When capturing their engagement images we had so much from meeting their pup Alfred to capturing pictures in Forest Park. Alex and Lauren’s day started with the girls getting ready and Alex’s parents home. The girls singed to good music, took selfies with a polaroid camera and talked about the day ahead. Once the girl’s were ready the ceremony was next. The ceremony was held at First United Methodist church in Saint Charles. The ceremony was beautiful! After the ceremony their pup Alfred showed up for some pictures. Lauren was ecstatic to see her fur baby. Once the ceremony was finished we all jumped onto a party bus to head into Saint Louis for pictures. Alex and Lauren had about a four hour gap from their ceremony to reception allowing time for pictures and different locations. The first stop was at Lafayette Square. We captured the wedding party and bride and groom portraits. The next stop would be everyone’s favorite. The graffiti wall downtown was a must for their wedding day. They popped champagne and celebrated the newlyweds. After the Graffiti wall we stopped by the Arch to snap a few in their hometown. There was still time leaving for the reception allowing everyone to stop at Big A’s on the riverfront. Everyone stopped to take a shot at a local favorite bar. After Alex and Lauren wanted to make one more stop by their first date. Alex and Lauren shared their first date at Erio’s restaurant to take a few pictures. After was the reception, the reception was held at All Occasions banquet in Saint Charles. Everyone one danced the night away celebrating Alex and Lauren. Congrats to Lauren and Alex we are wishing you a lifetime of happiness!
