Saint Louis wedding

Carly + Jacob

I first met Carly and Jacob a little over a year ago. We met for coffee and to go over their future wedding day. We all clicked right away when we met. During coffee we discussed their engagement story, how they met and all the details about their wedding day. I  knew from the moment of meeting this wedding was going to be beautiful! Fast forward a little bit- we captured their engagement at Cedar Lake Cellars. Carly and Jacob had a cute little picnic theme while carly wore her cowboy boots and a white dress. The other outfit change was probably my favorite because Carly is a Blackhawks fan and Jacob is a Blues hockey fan. They wore their jerseys representing their favorite hockey team. Needless to say I adored the two!

April 28, 2018 these two said " I do"and their wedding could not have been more magical! The day started off at The Color Room there Carly and her bridesmaids got their hair and make up done. Carly had a super cute updo style with fresh flowers to match her wedding. The girls laughed and shared memories as they were getting ready. After the girls were ready the girls all went back to the hotel to finish getting ready. At the hotel I captured the detail shots from the shoes to the jewelry. Than I hung up the beautiful dress alongside with her bridesmaids dress. The dresses were a pastel light pink and Carly's dress was a beautiful ivory lace wedding dress. After Carly slipped into her dress with the help of her maid of honor and sister. Once Carly was ready the girls and the bride all hopped onto the party bus to head over to the venue at Redemption Ranch.

Redemption Ranch is this beautiful white barn located in Moscow Mills, Missouri. The ranch is brand new in fact Carly and Jacob's wedding was the first wedding held at the Ranch since being finished. The ranch has a ton of natural light that flows into the tall white shiplap barn. I think every single one of us were in "awe" of the venue. Once we all arrived at Redemption Ranch we made sure to hide Jacob first. Jacob was there already getting ready with the groomsmen. The groomsmen were all sipping on Jameson and tying their ties patiently waiting for the ceremony. Once we hid Jacob it was time to bring in the bride. There we did a first look with Carly's dad and than we had Jacob and Carly exchange a letter from a door separating the two to not see on another.

The ceremony began around 1:00 pm. Carly walked down the aisle with her dad and let me tell you there was not a dry eye in the ceremony! The ceremony was beautiful! Her maid of honors dad was the officiant and her family members read verses from the Bible. Before the ceremony ended Carly and Jacob did a sand ceremony to celebrate their marriage as one. Soon after was of course the first kiss as Mr and Mrs! The ceremony left everyone in tears. Such a beautiful ceremony!

After the ceremony the wedding party, myself and the videographer all jumped onto the party bus to head over to the park for wedding party pictures. Let me first say this wedding party knew how to have fun! From dancing on the bus to rapping to oldies we were all cracking up and having a blast! This Saturday wedding was one of the first weddings you could really finally feel that spring was finally here! The sun was shinning and the temperatures were in the upper 70's I mean I do not think the weather could have been more perfect! We captured pictures at the park for about an hour. Starting with the bridesmaids and than wedding party. This wedding party was making me laugh so much! During photos the groomsmen (who played football in high school) all posed as if they were about to play football. I of course snapped that picture- it was too good of a candid moment! The sun was bright and Carly and Jacob were having so much fun. From twirling to kissing in the fields. After we captured the pictures at the park we all hopped back onto the party bus to head back to the ranch for the reception.

Of course there was more singing and dancing once we were back on the party bus. Let me firstly say if you have a gap in between your wedding and reception get a party bus, you will not regret it! From the groomsmens dancing to the bride and groom sharing sweet kisses the party bus was a blast! Once we arrived back at the ranch it was time to get the party started! Everyone entered by doing something goofy or piggy back rides, they were hilarious. After the wedding party entered the maid or honor and best man presented their speeches. From laughter in the room from the best man to tears from the maid of honor's speech these speeches were priceless. During the dinner there were two areas to get food which was super unique. One side was Carly's favorite food which was southern style chicken and gravy than the other side was Jacob's which was good ol' burgers and fries! I absolutely loved that idea! I of course went for Carly's side( the yummy fried chicken and gravy) the food was super yummy! Another cool fact- the caterer was Jacob's father's company (DMR Catering). After the food were the first dances. I  will never forget these dances! Carly and Jacob first started with their first dance which was beautiful- tons of emotion and many hugs. Than was Carly and her father's which was super emotional from tight hugs to tears of happiness. Than the last dance was Jacob and his mom, the dance first started slow than all of a sudden the Dj started playing up beat music. As soon as the up beat music happened Jacob and his mom were dancing to the music- not slow dancing but dancing which left everyone for a huge surprise including myself! The Mother- son dance was super unique! Seriously I will always remember those dances! From outside corn hole to dancing to the music to ending the night at Taco Bell (Carly and Jacob's go to place to eat). This wedding was such a fun, raw and tons of emotion ! I loved being apart of their magical day! Congrats to Carly and Jacob ! <3

Sophie + Luke 1-20-18

Congrats to the new Mr and Mrs! Sophie and Luke tied the knot on January 20th, 2018. The Saturday they got married on was beyond perfect for Missouri weather. Most January days in the midwest are pretty cold or even has snow on the ground. Not on there wedding the weather hit a high of 56 degrees. The weather was so perfect that no one was wearing a winter jacket.

The day started with sophia getting ready at her best friends house alongside with her bridesmaids. The bridesmaids dresses were beautiful, each one was a different style of deep red. From lace to silk they were so unique! Tons of laughter and memories were discussed as Sophie got ready. As soon as Sophie slipped into her beautiful white dress the bridesmaids were all in awe. Sophia got a little teary eyes looking at herself in the mirror. The bridesmaids circled and exchanged a few kind words before they got ready to leave for the ceremony.

I met the girls at the ceremony location which was Quail Ridge in Wentzville, Mo. The ceremony was set up for the reception as well which was perfect to combine the ceremony and reception all together in one beautiful open well lit lodge. The theme was pinecones, burgundy and greenery. In the lodge the bride and groom set up an adorable hot cocoa station with chocolate mint to caramel sauce what a perfect touch for a January wedding. From the exchange of the vows Sophie and Luke shared a beautiful sand ceremony of burgundy and gold sand. From the sand ceremony they were announced as husband and wife with a big kiss and tons of smiles.

During the in between pictures the wedding party shared a few drinks and a ton of laughter as they celebrated Sophie and Luke. Everyone was so nice and so kind as they offered to help with anything they could help with for the reception change. From the groomsmen fixing sophia's dress for a funny image to the bridesmaids making Sophie laugh the wedding party was perfect! After about an hour of capturing the family and wedding party we focused on the bride and groom. The brides mom created a ton of the decorations and even made the wedding cake. Sophie was so in love with the buttercream cake her mom made. Sophie and Luke were so happy to be married and celebrating this day alongside friends and family. Take a look at the images below for a beautiful wedding in winter ! Congrats to Sophie and Luke!

Winter wedding Mike + Brandy

Congrats to the new MR. and MRS ! This wedding was seriously amazing for the kick off of 2018 wedding's! Brandy and Mike are best friends at heart and have such big hearts. The two are so in love and make everyone smile. They started their love story in high school and soon enough became a couple. After years of dating Mike popped the question and Brandy of course said "YES". The two were engaged for a little over a year and had a blast planning their wedding!

The ceremony was held at New Town chapel in New Town Saint Charles, Mo. If you have not been to this chapel it is simply breathtaking! From beautiful clean white walls to a long aisle its the perfect chapel in the area. Before they said the "I do's" they read each other's love notes to each other behind a door. There was not a dry eye in sight. The two are simply perfect. After the ceremony we stayed in New Town to capture some images with the wedding party and the bride and groom. Brandy was obsessed with the buttons on her dress, the buttons started from the bottom back of dress to the end of the train the dress was simply stunning. The day was a little cold but this did not stop us from taking pictures outside we made it fun from walking and jumping on and off the heated party bus. After pictures at New Town everyone hoped on The Road Pony party bus to head over to Ameristar Casino in Saint Charles, MO to take a few indoor. From everyone walking inside and all the people walking past Brandy and Mike congratulating the two this simply felt like a fairytale for the two. The one picture we made sure to capture was the iconic sign at the beginning of the casino. We made sure no traffic was coming and we all stood under the sign to capture the cutest picture of the bride and groom kissing under the sign needless to say they loved the image!

Following the pictures was of course party time the reception! The reception was held at All Occasions banquet in Saint Charles, MO. The beautiful venue was well lit with lighting and a beautiful area for friends and family to be together. The wedding party entered by dancing and spinning and tons of laughter. Following the entrance was the first dance which was Ed Sheeran. The two laughed, spun around and danced close as they danced for the first time as husband and wife. After the dance was the speeches and these speeches were ones to go down in the books! The maid of honor's speech was first and seriously she blew it out of the water on this. The maid of honor started by talking about Brandy and her  friendship than turned to the dj to turn on the music. She put on sunglasses and started rapping about Brandy and Mike's love story. The speech had everyone laughing and cheering. Following the speeches there was tons of dancing. A group dance of Brandy and her sorority. It felt like everyone was on the dance floor for this wedding tons of dancing and cheering. The day was perfect!  Congratulations to Brandy and Mike!
