I met Jake and Olivia in high school. Jake and Olivia have been together since high school days. It is always so sweet to see two people so in love who are high school sweethearts. The day started with Olivia and her girls getting ready at her parents home. They all sipped on mimosas while the maid of honors finished there speeches. The boys were at Jake’s parents home which is up the street from Olivia’s parents. The guys all were eating White Castle’s while they got ready for the big day.

Olivia and Jake tied the knot at The Old Peace Chapel in Defiance. The chapel was so quaint and flourished with tons of natural light. The reception was at Trigg banquet center. The reception was a huge party with tons of people on the dance floor from high school friends to family members. Congrats to Olivia + Jake!!

Kim + Jeff

June 30th Kim and Jeff tied the knot at this super cute private lake called Innsbrook resort in Missouri. The lake is a private lake however you can get married at the resort area. The ceremony is held outside facing the lake and the reception is held inside in this cute rustic indoor venue. The colors of the wedding were beautiful, tiffany blue, greenery and pastel colors.

When we arrived at Innsbrook we started with detail shots and Kim getting into her beautiful dress. Kim's dress was seriously so beautiful ! There were rhinestones and gems on the dress that traced the straps on the front and back, I have never seen a dress like that before I seriously loved! Once Kim got into her dress we went outside to start capturing the bride and her tribe. The bridesmaids wore a tiffany blue long dress with navy blue Converse. Where Kim rocked white pearl Converse. Once we captured the bride and bridesmaids Kim and Jeff wanted to capture a first look. We placed Jeff with his back to Kim that way Kim could walk up to Jeff and tap on his shoulder for the first look. The first look was super cute! The wedding party wanted to stay to watch and Kim and Jeff were full of smiles. After the first look we captured the groom and groomsmen images. Let me first by saying this group had so much fun from literally picking Jeff up to one groomsmen having Jeff stand on his shoulder the pictures from this were priceless. After capturing all the wedding party, bride and groom portraits the ceremony was about to begin.

The ceremony started in the late afternoon. The sun was shinning and there was light refreshments such as a moscow mule drinks and lemon water. Kim and Jeff said the " I do's" right in front which over looked the lake. After the reception we snapped traditional family portraits. Kim and Jeff wanted to enjoy the cocktail hour as well as the full reception. Since we captured all the images beforehand Kim and Jeff went around and talked to each guest and hung out the rest of the night with their friends and family. We stayed until the end to capture the sparkler send off. Kim and Jeff shared a kiss as the new Mr and Mrs before leaving with the wedding party that night to continue the party! Congrats to Kim and Jeff!!

Peyton + Ethan

June 9th 2018 Ethan and Peyton tied the knot at a cute rock quarry tucked away in Blackwater, Missouri called Wildcliff weddings and events. The venue was a dream! From a quarry lake to a cave where you can get ready in. There were so many hidden gems with endless of photo opportunities.

The day started with Peyton and her bridesmaids getting ready inside the bridal cottage at Wildcliff. They shared tons of laughs with mimosas and laughed about Peyton's all 4 dogs being in the wedding. Peyton and her girls were having a blast ! Later on the groomsmen arrived where they hopped on this boat that you pull in the water that leads you into this acquaint cave. We all took the boat over and climbed this ladder that lead to this cave are, talk about a man cave! In this cave groomsmen hang out before the wedding ceremony. Trust me us photographers were amazed by this cave, it did not feel like the midwest! We snapped a few pictures in the cave of the groom and groomsmen while they shared cheers with beers.

The Ceremony started at 3:00pm right on the main lawn facing the lake and cave talk about a beautiful scene! The sun was shinning and the weather was ideal for a June wedding! During the ceremony there was not a dry eye in sight. Peyton and Ethan read their vows which later went into a "planting a tree ceremony". Such a cool idea! Following the reception we gathered the wedding party for pictures and bridesmaids and groomsmen. The photo opportunities at Wildcliff can go on for days I could have spent all day photographing there !

After the pictures lead into the reception which was outside under beautiful string lights. A perfect summer wedding reception ! Every wedding member went around and spoke about the bride and groom which was a unique and cool idea! Each wedding party member shared the memories between the bride and groom. Later that night everyone danced under the string lights and danced the night away to a variety of music from country to hip hop! Congrats to Peyton and Ethan!!

Lindsey + Kenny

June 2nd Lindsey and Kenny tied the knot at Sunset Bluffs in Washington, Missouri. The venue was a dream. From white sand to a beautiful cliff that overlooks the venue.

The day started with Lindsey and her bridesmaids getting ready upstairs at Sunset Bluffs. The room was huge with tons of natural light. The corner of the room tucked a private area for make up artist and hair stylist. There were huge mirrors with make up lights built in already. The girls sipped on mimosas and shared memories while they all got ready. Shortly after Kenny and the groomsmen arrive. There is a room downstairs for the guys to get ready in. The weather was raining on and off but luckily Sunset Bluffs has a huge indoor area with tons of huge windows allowing a ton of natural light to flow through the entire venue. After everyone was ready Lindsey wanted a first look with her father. We had Lindsey's father facing his back to this huge staircase, that way when Lindsey came down the steps we could snap some creative shots and angles. The first look with her dad was so precious! There was not a dry eye. After the first look it was time for the ceremony. The weather was an overcast with the sun just barely shinning through we could not have asked for better lighting. The ceremony was beautiful ! The pastor was Lindsey's pastor since she was a child making the ceremony very sentimental. My second photographer went up on the cliff at Sunset Bluffs to snap some wide angle shots of the ceremony which are so cool! Right when Lindsey and Kenny shared their first kiss as Mr and Mrs Kenny dipped her before they exchanged their first kiss which was the cutest!

Following the ceremony we snapped the wedding party and bride and groom portraits. We had so much fun from laughing to all the groomsmen picking up Lindsey for a photo. After the in between pictures followed the reception. The one thing I love about outside summer weddings is it is still light outside until making for good natural light photos. Lindsey and Kenny entered the reception wearing handcuffs as Kenny's profession is in law enforcement. The reception was so much fun from games to speeches. The wedding of Kenny and Linsey was a beautiful outside summer wedding! Congrats to Kenny and Lindsey!
