saint louis bride

Kim + Jeff

June 30th Kim and Jeff tied the knot at this super cute private lake called Innsbrook resort in Missouri. The lake is a private lake however you can get married at the resort area. The ceremony is held outside facing the lake and the reception is held inside in this cute rustic indoor venue. The colors of the wedding were beautiful, tiffany blue, greenery and pastel colors.

When we arrived at Innsbrook we started with detail shots and Kim getting into her beautiful dress. Kim's dress was seriously so beautiful ! There were rhinestones and gems on the dress that traced the straps on the front and back, I have never seen a dress like that before I seriously loved! Once Kim got into her dress we went outside to start capturing the bride and her tribe. The bridesmaids wore a tiffany blue long dress with navy blue Converse. Where Kim rocked white pearl Converse. Once we captured the bride and bridesmaids Kim and Jeff wanted to capture a first look. We placed Jeff with his back to Kim that way Kim could walk up to Jeff and tap on his shoulder for the first look. The first look was super cute! The wedding party wanted to stay to watch and Kim and Jeff were full of smiles. After the first look we captured the groom and groomsmen images. Let me first by saying this group had so much fun from literally picking Jeff up to one groomsmen having Jeff stand on his shoulder the pictures from this were priceless. After capturing all the wedding party, bride and groom portraits the ceremony was about to begin.

The ceremony started in the late afternoon. The sun was shinning and there was light refreshments such as a moscow mule drinks and lemon water. Kim and Jeff said the " I do's" right in front which over looked the lake. After the reception we snapped traditional family portraits. Kim and Jeff wanted to enjoy the cocktail hour as well as the full reception. Since we captured all the images beforehand Kim and Jeff went around and talked to each guest and hung out the rest of the night with their friends and family. We stayed until the end to capture the sparkler send off. Kim and Jeff shared a kiss as the new Mr and Mrs before leaving with the wedding party that night to continue the party! Congrats to Kim and Jeff!!

Spring engagement session

Meet Stephanie and Scott! A super fun and superhero loving engaged couple!

I  first met Stephanie from going to the gym where she works. Stephanie and I kicked it off right away talking about life and working out. Over the last year we have gained a friendship that I am super grateful for! When she told me a few months ago that she recently got engaged she was telling me how she loves my photography and that she wanted me to capture her engagement and wedding. I was honored to hear that she wanted to choose me to capture her love story! Shortly after Stephanie came over to my home to chat about her wedding details and engagement. I was so excited to hear the theme and color of their wedding I thought their theme would be super unique and so personable(which I love)! Once you see the images below you will catch the theme fairly easy. After we chatted the wedding details we talked about the engagement session. Stephanie is super laid back and wanted the fields and trees to be a part of their engagement location. Once choosing the location we discussed the outfits. Stephanie and Scott wanted something a little more relaxed and laid back since that is their style. I met with them last Thursday to capture the engagement session. This was also my first time to meet Scott! Scott and Stephanie not only share the first letter of their names but share so many common things they both like. Such as working out, outdoors and superheroes. During their engagement they were laughing literally the entire time. Which of course had me setting my camera down multiple times cracking up. There were a few times my stomach would hurt from laughing to much with these two. I would put them in a pose than they all of a sudden would start goofing off from laughing to making funny faces this engagement session was a blast! My favorite was when I had Stephanie and Scott walk towards me and they were laughing I  than told them to jump and walk, yup totally worth it. There is no doubt that these two are made for each other and have such a strong love. I am so excited to share this gallery with the two and to share the images with you! Stephanie and Scott you both make an amazing couple and I can not wait to capture your October wedding!
